Simple Landscape

Took a trip on a friends houseboat down the Thames. It was interesting to witness a different lifestyle so close to home. This short stretch of the Thames from Kingston to Walton housed a number of river communities.
It was also a demonstration of a more sustainable way of living, the boat I was on received all its heating and cooking fuel from driftwood collected on the Thames, where as others had windmills and solar panels to provide electricity.
